Gotta Get It!

I saw the most hilarious magnet the other day! You'll have to visualize the picture yourself- 50's era, couple by the fridge, man with wild expression. The caption says, "Male Refrigerator Blindness Claims Another Victim".

Men won't laugh at this. Women who read this will have tears rolling down their faces.

Ahhh, February!

February is so unpredictable! The "thaw" hits, we all run outside and do some yardwork, revel in the bulbs that are peeking out, rake away the muck from the beds to see if anything else is coming up, and then one morning we wake up, look out the window, and.... we stand- unmoving, mouths gaping, staring, wondering.... and then we realize, "Oh yeah, it's February!"

The Red Wall

Well, here it is. I love the red, but I'm not too fond of the other color, so I'll probably repaint that- a light beige. I also need to make curtains, paint the closet doors and put them up and add a little decor. But did I tell you I love the red?!

Valentine's Treats

Mmmmm, phyllo wrapped asparagus with roasted red pepper aioli and bittersweet chocolate souffle! Both were divine!

Computer Haiku

Whoever wrote these is a genious, and knows our pain. (If anyone knows who wrote these let me know so I can give proper credit)

Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.

ABORTED effort:
Close all that you have worked on.
You ask far too much.

Windows NT crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death
No one hears your screams.

First snow, then silence.
This thousand dollar screen dies
So beautifully.

With searching comes loss
And the presence of absence:
"My Novel" not found.

Three things are certain:
Death, taxes, and lost data.
Guess which has occurred.

Serious error.
All shortcuts have disappeared.
Screen. Mind. Both are blank.

British Columbia

I told my brother I would post some pictures of this beautiful area, so here you go Dave! The first is approaching Thetis Island and Capernwray Harbour Bible Centre. Next is Pilkey Point, another beautiful spot on the island, and finally, sunrise- looking toward Vancouver Island, from the porch of CHBC. We get to go again in September! And our lucky daughter gets to spend nine months here! There are no stores, gas stations, etc. on the island. It's only about 5 miles in diameter.

February

Do you ever feel as if you are on a rickety trolley, racing furiously in the wrong direction? February is often like that.
